The No Fry

You know I have a major stir fry addiction, but I have yet to tell you about my “No Fry” fetish 😉

This is another really easy, fast, delicious meal you can make in minutes. All you need is a Spirooli and some creativity. “A What?” you say – this –>


Here’s what I did to make our lunch today (Anthony gave it 2 “yums” up :P)



1 large zucchini (whole, stem removed)

2 medium tomatoes (diced)

half cucumber (diced)

2 tbsp Bragg’s

1 tbsp Thai Kitchen Chilli & Ginger sauce

1 tbsp sesame oil

1/4 cup slivered almonds (even better if you toast them yourself!)


So first thing is to “spirooli” your whole zucchini. Watch this video (it’s a bit over kill to get started but very informative)

If you don’t have a Spirooli, GET ONE! If you don’t want one, GET ONE ANYWAYS BECAUSE THEY’RE AMAZINGLY USEFUL!! Or don’t get one and use a grater and try to make the longest strands you can 🙂

The rest is simple: put everything into a large container with a lid (I used my big Ziplock container) then shake the crap out of it to mix it all together. Eat your yummy raw No Fry out of the container or be a bit more civilized by using utensils and a bowl.
